Kyrie Irving asks Mike Miller if game against Bulls is what playoffs feel like (Video)

With LeBron James returning to Cleveland and Kevin Love coming over from the Timberworlves to team up with Kyrie Irving, the Cavaliers are the favorite of many to represent the Eastern Conference in next year’s NBA Finals.

If that happens, Love and Irving will get their first taste of playoff basketball.

It’s tough to simulate the atmosphere and energy of the playoffs, but Friday’s matchup between the Cavs and Bulls was as intense as an early November NBA game can probably be. That led to Kyrie Irving asking veteran Mike Miller if this is “similar to what a playoff game feels like?” Miller has 85 postseason games (and two championships) under his belt, so he’s definitely a good person to ask on the subject. Miller responded by saying it’s “a couple notches below it.”

Miller and Shawn Marion were brought in, in part, to help provide veteran leadership for a team looking to win the franchise’s first NBA title. Moments like this are a perfect example.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, Kyrie Irving will know firsthand what playoff basketball is like a little over six months from now.
