Lamar Odom attends college baseball game on his own

Lamar Odom

Lamar Odom appears to be making great progress with his recovery from a drug overdose, as he has recently started going out in public and returning to normal daily activities. Over the weekend, Odom attended a college baseball game in Los Angeles.

TMZ reports that Odom was spotted at Cal State Northridge’s game against CSU Bakersfield. A source said Odom arrived by himself and stayed for the entire game, later meeting up with a trainer who works at the campus facility. Another person told TMZ that Odom was playing basketball at the school, though that has not been confirmed.

Earlier this month, Odom attended Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 fashion show in New York City along with Khloe Kardashian and her family. He also went grocery shopping last Friday and was reportedly “looking healthy and in good spirits.”

While it may not seem like much, these are all great signs for Odom. It wasn’t long ago that there were fears he would never walk again or worse. The progress update Khloe Kardashian gave last month reminds us that Odom still has a lot of rehab left ahead of him, but just listen to the 911 call that was placed the day he overdosed. Simply walking around and taking in a baseball game is a huge step for the former NBA star.
