Lamar Odom reportedly is canceling his reality TV show so he can focus on a basketball comeback, TMZ reports.
According to TMZ, the reality show “Khloe & Lamar,” which is about Odom’s life with wife Khloe Kardashian, will not return after its current season. The show is a spinoff of the popular “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” program and is in its second season.
TMZ says Odom, who was bought out of his current contract with the Mavs, will be living in LA and working out with trainers full-time in hopes of being picked up for next season. The Mavericks retain his rights even though they paid him to go away for the season. They’ll likely attempt to trade him.
The couple’s marriage reportedly has been in jeopardy, so it’s no surprise they no longer want TV cameras following them around constantly. Odom revealed last year that he wanted to cancel the show three days into filming. He also was reportedly blaming the show for his struggles this season.
