Lamar Odom has entered rehab for his drug problems, according to a report.
People Magazine says the 32-year-old basketball player checked into a drug and alcohol rehab facility.
“He realized he needs help,” a source told the magazine.
Odom’s drug problem was first exposed nearly two weeks ago. Odom and wife Khloe Kardashian had been having marital problems, which Khloe reportedly ascribed to Lamar’s drug abuse.
Odom reportedly enjoys smoking freebase cocaine and has had a problem with prescription drugs OxyContin and Ambien.
Odom went to rehab last year at Khloe’s urging, but he only stayed three weeks. He played the entire basketball season for the Los Angeles Clippers last season.
A recent report indicated the Lakers were willing to show interest in Odom if he went to rehab.
