Lance Stephenson calls out Raptors for similar late-game breakaway in November

Lance Stephenson thinks the uproar he caused in Tuesday’s victory over the Toronto Raptors was a prime case of talking the talk without walking the walk.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Stephenson called out the Raptors for a similar late-game breakaway basket by guard Norman Powell at the end of a blowout win over the Philadelphia 76ers back in November.

Stephenson’s late layup at the end of his Indiana Pacers’ 108-90 win over the Raptors ruffled some feathers on the Toronto side and caused quite the scene. But this is the second time this week we’ve seen an NBA team hoisted by their own petard, proving that poetic justice is alive and well in the Association.
