It would be tough to find someone who doesn’t respect Dirk Nowitzki for scoring 21 points for the Mavericks — 10 in the fourth quarter — during a Game 4 victory against the Heat despite a fever that allegedly reached 101 degrees. Or would it? Perhaps we have to look no further than the Miami locker room, where Dwyane Wade and LeBron James appeared to have a little fun at Dirk’s expense after their team’s shootaround on Thursday. I suppose we can’t say for certain that they were making fun of Dirk, but what else could they be having that much fun with? The funny thing is this is the same LeBron James who tweeted about Karma during the regular season. If my short-term memory serves me correctly, didn’t the Mavs go on to beat the Heat Thursday night and take a 3-2 series lead on the wings of — guess who — Dirk Nowitzki? The Heat have spent a lot of time in the playoffs celebrating plays and creating montage moments in case they win a title. You can guarantee this clip will be front and center in any montage that you see if the Mavs go on to win it.
