The Golden State Warriors destroyed the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night, and it was Stephen Curry — not LeBron James — who was clearly the best player on the floor. And there was really nothing LeBron could do about it besides smirk.
On one particular play, LeBron was posting up Andre Iguodala and trying to take him to the basket. While James was paying attention to the guy who was defending him, Curry came out of nowhere and picked his pocket. LeBron’s reaction was priceless:
If that doesn’t say “you got me,” I don’t know what does.
That impressive steal was one of three from Curry on a night where he dropped 35 points to go along with five rebounds and four assists. LeBron had just 16 points in the 132-98 loss.
The Cavs supposedly felt disrespected by some comments Curry made before the game, but they did absolutely nothing about it. What should have been a great NBA Finals rematch turned into one of the biggest snoozefests of the season.
