James received a shoutout from Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti for the gesture.
Thank you, @KingJames, for generously sending a taco truck to support our @LAFD firefighters, first responders, and partner agencies working to fight the #GettyFire. pic.twitter.com/rgTSMgWXLU

James’ family was among the 20,000 people who evacuated from their homes to avoid the potential path of the Getty Fire, which is so-named because of the fire’s proximity to the Getty Museum, which is located on a hillside adjacent to the 405 freeway in the Los Angeles area. James has a home in Brentwood, which is south of the Getty Museum.
The Los Angeles Lakers star evacuated early Monday morning after receiving text message alerts following the team’s game on Sunday night.
