LeBron James nursing sore groin, sitting against Warriors
LeBron James will miss the Los Angeles Lakers’ upcoming game against the Golden State Warriors, and the reason is a little bit concerning.
The team said on Wednesday that James would miss Thursday’s tilt with the Warriors due to a sore left groin, per Bill Oram of The Athletic.

Of course, the 35-year-old James missed significant time last season due to a major groin injury (coincidentally in a game against the very same Warriors), so any potential recurrence of the issue is somewhat worrying. James played 34 minutes on Monday in a win over the New Orleans Pelicans, dropping a season-high 40 points with eight rebounds and six assists.
This is not the first time either that the groin injury has flared up again on the four-time MVP this season, so hopefully this is just a case of exercising some caution against a lesser opponent.
