Lil B claims credit for James Harden turnover record, Warriors success
Bay Area rapper and Warriors fan Lil B has long been at odds with James Harden, and the man who says he has the power to curse NBA players is pointing out some evidence that it worked.
As you may recall, the man who calls himself the Based God accused Harden of stealing his cooking dance without giving credit and promptly hit him with the “Based God Curse” at game five of the 2015 Western Conference Finals. Harden promptly went 2-11 from the field and turned the ball over 12 times as the Warriors closed out the Rockets.
The franchises have gone on very different paths since then. Lil B’s Warriors are one win away from breaking the single-season NBA record, while Houston is currently a game out of the playoffs with two games to go. Don’t think the Based God hasn’t noticed.
The power of " The BasedGods" curse made James harden get record most turnovers this year and the Warriors Nba most wins record – Lil B

It’s true – while George McGinnis’s ABA mark still stands, Harden now has 370 turnovers, an NBA single-season record. Clearly we know who to credit or blame for that as we see fit.
Interestingly, Lil B claimed after last season’s end that the curse on Harden had been lifted. Perhaps the Based God Curse is just so utterly soul-destroying that you can’t recover from the psychological trauma even after it’s over.
