Here are some of the noteworthy lines from the song:
“People looking crazy asking is it hard. I just laugh cuz I know they talkin’ about LaVar. Y’all can hate him that’s my pops tho. First one that’s there for me once it got cold. Listen to the story, not just how it’s told. Yellin’ he the devil, but yet you the one who sold your soul.”
“Never get why people hating on the brand, though. Claiming that you hot but you a fan, though.”
Lonzo has always done a great job of handling the way his father makes headlines, but it’s clear where his allegiances lie. Even if LaVar makes some outlandish statements about Lonzo’s future with the Lakers among other things, there’s no denying he has done a good job of promoting the Big Baller Brand and setting his family up for success.
