Luka Doncic had such an embarrassing flop on Rudy Gobert during Monday’s game between the Utah Jazz and Dallas Mavericks.
Doncic and Gobert were getting into it throughout the game. The two players got called for technical fouls for an incident before halftime.

Then in the second half of the game, Doncic went after Gobert, targeting him on the court in attempts to shoot over him. He also seemed to make an effort to try and get Gobert ejected for a second tech. That likely is the reason for his flop:

The acting job from Doncic was pathetic. Officials reviewed the play to see whether Gobert had committed a “hostile act” but quickly realize he hadn’t.
Doncic admitted he embellished.
”I thought it was worse,” he said. “Then when I saw it. It was nothing. We were all laughing at the bench.”
Doncic’s plan didn’t work, but he had 35 points and 16 rebounds in Dallas’ 111-103 win over Utah, so things all worked out well. Doncic got his last technical foul rescinded, but this one probably won’t be.
