Luka Doncic is known for his great play on the court, but he’s also notorious for complaining to the officials about calls. Some of that complaining could end up costing him this season.
Doncic on Sunday picked up a technical foul in his Dallas Mavericks’ 107-101 win over the Golden State Warriors. The technical foul was Doncic’s 13th of the season.
If a player accumulates 16 technical fouls in a season, they are automatically suspended for one game.
Doncic has previously vowed that he will not end up being suspended.
Luka Doncic is now tied with Carmelo Anthony for the most technical fouls this season with 13. He’s three shy of a one-game suspension, which he vows will not happen.

He also said he is done complaining and talking to officials.

That’s much easier said than done. Doncic will have to restrain himself moving forward considering he is closing in the mark with 21 games left in the regular season.
The 22-year-old guard had 34 points and 11 rebounds in the win.
