Luka Doncic was born in Slovenia and has played basketball in Spain for the past several years, so he may experience a bit of a culture shock now that he is beginning a new chapter of his life in Dallas. Fortunately, he already has the most important detail covered.
During his introductory press conference with the Mavericks on Friday, Doncic was asked about his level of familiarity with the state of Texas. His response will have Jerry Jones beaming from ear to ear.

In addition to being a tremendous point guard prospect, Doncic has already shown that he has a great sense of humor. The 19-year-old has set some entertaining goals for himself as a pro athlete in America, and he’s sure to quickly become a fan favorite if his game translates to the NBA.
