Luka Doncic had a very Hans Moleman-like moment during Saturday’s game.
The Los Angeles Lakers faced off on Saturday against the rival Denver Nuggets. During the first quarter at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Calif., Doncic had a bit of an outburst at Lakers teammate Rui Hachimura.
After a missed free throw by Nuggets guard Jamal Murray, Doncic and Hachimura both went for the ball. They ended up colliding, and Hachimura made contact with Doncic’s … nether region.
Doncic, who successfully collected the defensive rebound, tossed the ball over to teammate Austin Reaves while doubled over in pain. He then got up and yelled back up the floor at Hachimura, “You hit my d–k!!”
Here is the video.

That cannot have felt great for the six-time All-Star Doncic. But he did score 16 points in the first half as the Lakers took a 61-50 lead into the break, so the blow clearly did not affect him too much.
We have certainly seen our fair share of nut shots over the years, including plenty in the NBA. But the Doncic-Hachimura moment might have been the first instance of a friendly-fire nut shot during a game.
