Magic rookie Mo Bamba to miss time with stress fracture in leg
Mo Bamba’s rookie season has hit a snag.
Bamba will miss time with a stress fracture in his leg, though he’s expected to avoid surgery.
“Thankfully we caught this early and are able to treat Mo without surgery,” the Magic said in a statement Tuesday. “His return to action will depend on how he responds to treatment.”
Bamba missed Saturday’s game due to his leg and was listed as out for Tuesday.
The 20-year-old 7-footer was the No. 6 overall pick in the draft by the Orlando Magic. He’s averaged 6.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in just over 16 minutes per game this season.
