The Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday slowed down the surging Rockets, handing them their second loss in nine games. Though James Harden continued his high-scoring ways, the Bucks handled him and the rest of the Rockets well.
Though Harden scored 42 points, he was just 13/30 from the field. The Rockets only shot 37.6 percent from the field while missing 30 3-pointers.
Malcolm Brodgon, who clamped down on Harden while defending the Rockets star, said they made Harden miss and put things on the rest of the team.
Malcolm Brogdon on MIL's defense on Harden: "I thought it was tough for him. I thought he missed a lot of shots. He’s going to end up with his 30, purely off of his attempts, how much he shoots. But we made him miss a lot, and we made the other guys beat us, which they couldn’t." https://t.co/fAKt3EZUdq

The plan worked. Milwaukee won 116-109 to improve to 29-11 on the season. They even left Harden with a mark on his face:
