Markelle Fultz shares ominous messages on social media
Markelle Fultz sent some ominous messages on social media that have left Philadelphia 76ers fans wondering.
On Sunday night, the 2017 No. 1 overall pick sent this tweet about not being able to trust anyone.
You really can’t trust NO ONE !!

He also shared a message on his Instagram story telling people not to call or text him.

It’s unclear whether these notes were basketball-related or not.
What we do know is that Fultz had a shoulder injury at the beginning of the season he tried playing through. He began adjusting his shot as a result and was shooting poorly. He finally was shut down in late October to have his shoulder treated, though he hasn’t returned to action since then. It’s unclear whether he shut himself down or the team shut him down.
Video of Fultz shooting circulated on social media last week, and the guard’s form did not look good.

Compare that to this video from June showing Fultz knocking down threes like nothing.

It’s been three months since he last played in a game. And that is after reports in early December made it sound like he was close to a return.
There are questions persisting now about whether Fultz hasn’t been playing for the Sixers because of his shoulder, or because he has some mental issue going on e.g. the yips. Whatever the case, something certainly seems to be bothering Fultz.
