The Martell Webster Show may be going back on the road.
Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe reported on Sunday that Webster, the former No. 6 overall pick, is attempting an NBA comeback.
The 30-year-old Webster last played in the 2014-15 season, averaging 3.3 points in 11.0 minutes per game for the Washington Wizards. He also had a knack for making odd headlines during his time in the Association.
While various hip and back surgeries appeared to spell the premature end of his career, if Webster is at full health, he may prove useful as a spot-up threat for some wing-needy team (such as this Western Conference playoff hopeful).
