Raptors’ Masai Ujiri noncommittal about Dwane Casey’s future
The comments made by Toronto Raptors general manager Masai Ujiri on Wednesday will do nothing to quiet the speculation about Dwane Casey’s job status.
Ujiri said that Casey’s coaching work would “remain in history,” but offered no assurances about his future and said he, like everyone else, would be subject to evaluation.
Masai says Casey's been unbelievable and what he's done will 'remain in history', but evaluation process will be the same as it's bene the last few years.

Masai Ujiri, asked if he can give us anything definitive on Dwane Casey's status: "I've said what I have to say about that. I've said we're evaluating and I'm going to leave it at that."

Not exactly a ringing endorsement, and it will certainly add fuel to reports that the team is leaning toward making a change. Casey himself, though, hasn’t heard anything about it, at least yet.
