The Bulls have a GM vacancy after Karnisovas fired longtime team general manager Gar Forman.
Finley, 47, had a 15-year playing career in the NBA and last played in 2010. He began working with his former team as an intern of sorts a few years later, and then was hired by the front office in 2015. Finley is currently a vice president of basketball operations.
