Michael Porter Jr. planning on playing in summer league
Michael Porter Jr. was one of the most highly-touted names in last year’s NBA Draft, but thanks to concerns over his back, we’re still waiting for him to make his professional debut.
It sounds like we’ll see Porter on the court soon, however, as the rookie said he feels good physically and is aiming to play for the Denver Nuggets’ summer league team.

Porter was a top five talent in last year’s draft, but fell to the 14th pick over concerns about his health before undergoing a spinal operation. The Nuggets opted not to rush him and he sat out the season, but if all goes according to plan, he’ll be a factor next year for a Denver team that will have playoff ambitions.
