What’s it like to be traded twice in 48 hours? Mike Muscala knows.
The veteran center went from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Los Angeles Clippers as part of the Tobias Harris trade, only to be dealt to the Los Angeles Lakers a day later. Muscala admitted Saturday that he did a lot of flying and ended up going from Philadelphia to Los Angeles, then back to Philadelphia.
After being traded from Philadelphia, Mike Muscala said, he flew to LA to take his physical with the Clippers then was at LAX to meet the team in Boston. Then his agent called to tell him he’d been traded again. Now he’s back in Philly, practicing with the Lakers.

Would have been flying to Indiana, not Boston.

The Lakers are in Philadelphia for a game on Sunday, so the whole ordeal ended up going full circle, essentially. It’s a nice reminder that the trade deadline can be exceptionally stressful for players, and even more stressful when you get dealt twice.
