Milwaukee Bucks promotion gives winners chance to hang out with Coolio

CoolioWith the NBA’s All-Star break in the rearview mirror, we’re now entering crunch time for those teams with playoff aspirations. The Milwaukee Bucks aren’t one of those teams.

Currently at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings with a 10-43 record, the Bucks are well on their way to participating in the league’s draft lottery in May. As you would probably expect, attendance this season hasn’t been the greatest. Milwaukee is last in the NBA with an average attendance of 13,364 through 27 home games.

This isn’t to say the Bucks have bad fans, just that given the team’s overall performance to this point it’s understandable that there have been more than a few empty seats at the Bradley Center. That said, promotions are a good way to lift spirits of a fan base and generate some excitement. And with that we bring you the Bucks’ latest idea to engage their supporters.

Glenn Robinson spent eight seasons with Milwaukee, earning two All-Star appearances and a spot on the NBA All-Rookie team. He ranks third in franchise history in field goals made (4,723), fourth in 3-pointers (494), and second with an average of 21.1 points per game. If you’re looking for a Y2K-era player for your promotion, he’s a solid choice.

As for Coolio, he did this.

Congratulations to the lucky winners.
