Andre Drummond is being punished for pulling a Ja Morant.
The NBA announced on Saturday that they are fining the Philadelphia 76ers big man Drummond a sum of $25,000. In the league’s release, they stated that Drummond made an “objectionable gesture” during Thursday’s win over the Sacramento Kings at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, Calif.
ESPN reports that the gesture in question occurred in the third quarter of the game. After hitting a three-pointer, Drummond appeared to make a shooting gesture towards the Sacramento bench.
While video of the incident was not readily available, Drummond does have a history here. Earlier this month in a game against the Boston Celtics, he received a technical foul for doing a similar gun gesture after hitting a shot.

The NBA has little tolerance for players flashing the gun gesture during games. Most notably, the Memphis Grizzlies star Morant has been fined in the past for doing shooting motions on the court.
As for the four-time NBA rebounding leader Drummond, now 32, he has had some bad luck with celebrations over the years. A couple seasons ago, Drummond was also fined by the NBA for doing another inappropriate celebration during a game.
