“You miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take.” So said Wayne Gretzky, then said Michael Scott, now says Myles Turner.
The Indiana Pacers big man Turner posted a video to Instagram this week about a recent trip that he took to Disney World in Orlando, Fla.
WNBA star Liz Cambage left a comment on Turner’s post.
“LMAO IVE NEVER BEEN!!” she wrote. “I always thought I was too tall for everything there so thank you for this.”
In an apparent effort to get Cambage to accompany him the next time around, Turner wrote back saying, “Its A Date!”
Cambage is one of the WNBA’s biggest stars. She joined the powerhouse Los Angeles Sparks this offseason and was recently in the news for her critical remarks about WNBA wages.
As for Turner, who is 6-foot-11, he might actually make a good pair with the 6-foot-8 Cambage. You certainly cannot accuse him of being gun-shy either. Turner even used the NBA trade deadline as an opportunity to try to land a date with a different woman.
