Report: NBA investigation finds Lakers’ Brian Shaw did not tamper with Paul George
Los Angeles Lakers assistant coach Brian Shaw did not tamper with Paul George when he was still with the Indiana Pacers, according to a report.
The Pacers complained to the NBA about possible tampering on the Lakers’ part, but according to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, a league investigation found no evidence of tampering on the part of Shaw.
Sources told ESPN that Shaw and George frequently went on father-son fishing trips during the summer, trading off between lakes in Indiana and Shaw's home in Oakland.

After the Lakers were warned about tampering by the league following new team president Magic Johnson's cheeky comments on Jimmy Kimmel, Shaw reconsidered whether to participate in the fishing trip and in George's fishing competition, which was being held Aug 13 at Castaic Lake.

There was some evidence of tampering from the Lakers which they were duly punished for, but Shaw is in the clear, despite the Pacers’ original complaint.
