While mystery remains about the Phoenix Suns and their potential No. 1 overall selection, some NBA figures think they have it all figured out.
According to Jonathan Wasserman of Bleacher Report, the belief around the NBA is that the Suns will ultimately select Arizona center DeAndre Ayton with the top pick in the draft, with no other player getting much in the way of thought.
Almost everyone I reached out to around NBA expects Suns to draft Ayton #1. Only non-Ayton answers were I don’t knows. No firm Doncic responses.

The Suns have teased the possibility of trading the pick, but that looks to be increasingly unlikely. Ayton played at Arizona and thus is somewhat local, and the talented big makes a lot of sense as a top pick.
