New Western Conference team being linked to Bronny James
Bronny James’ list of potential suitors appears to be growing rapidly.
Krysten Peek of Yahoo! Sports reported on Friday that Bronny, the eldest son of LeBron James, is drawing interest from a new team in the Western Conference — the Utah Jazz. The Jazz have reportedly expressed interest in bringing in Bronny for an individual workout and may be eyeing him with their early second-round draft pick (No. 32 overall), Peek adds.
This news comes after the 19-year-old Bronny improved his draft stock with a strong showing at the NBA Combine this week. While there is still some significant skepticism over Bronny’s ability to contribute in the NBA right now, another West team (besides his father’s L.A. Lakers) also recently emerged as a possible draft destination.
As for the Jazz, they have Dwyane Wade, LeBron’s old teammate and close friend, as a minority owner. Utah is also building somewhat of a stronghold of clients from Klutch Sports, the mega-agency that represents LeBron. All of those are reasons why Bronny could potentially be a match for the Jazz.
