The hike in the NBA salary cap means that there’s more money flying around in free agency than ever before, and players from other sports have noticed.
NFL players took notice of the deals being handed out on the first day of NBA free agency, and their reactions on Twitter varied from amusement to befuddlement to jealousy.

Can you blame these guys for reacting this way? No, not really. Just look at some of these deals that were agreed to. On the other hand, the NFL record for guaranteed money in a contract was just broken with a comparatively paltry $87 million sum. Work on your jumper, kids.
