The Denver Nuggets have somehow managed to stay afloat even with Nikola Jokic out for the entire month of January.
Now, the Nuggets have been dealt another blow, this time to Aaron Gordon, who will be out for at least four-to-six weeks due to a right hamstring strain.

Jokic suffered a hyperextended knee at the end of December and he was expected to be re-evaluated in four weeks. However, the latest update showed that Jokic is making “rapid progress” and has already resumed on-court workouts.
Gordon has been a key reason for the Nuggets’ success even with Jokic sidelined. He is averaging 17.7 points with 6.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists while playing just under 28 minutes per game.
Gordon has played in just 23 games, as he also had a hamstring injury earlier in the season, which caused him to miss the entire month of December.
The Nuggets have an 8-6 record in January, and they enter Thursday’s game with a 31-16 record, which has them at third place in the Western Conference.
The good news is that Jokic is recovering well from his injury and could be back on the floor very soon.
