Nuggets coach advocates for change after Denver school shooting
Nuggets head coach Michael Malone opened up his pregame press conference on Tuesday night advocating for change in response to a school shooting in a Denver suburb earlier in the day.
According to The Denver Post, at least one person is dead and several are injured after a shooting at the STEM School in Highlands Ranch. Two male students who are suspects are in custody.
Malone, whose Nuggets are hosting the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 5 of their Western Conference semifinals playoff series on Tuesday night, began his pregame press conference by talking about the shooting. He noted that his daughters have been in lockout twice over the last two months.
