The Toronto Raptors are hoping to get OG Anunoby back on the floor soon, and while he’ll be active for Game 2, he isn’t likely to play an active role.
Raptors coach Nick Nurse said Sunday that Anunoby would be active for Game 2 of the NBA Finals, but was not expected to play any actual role in the game.
OG Anunoby will be active for the Raptors tonight. Probably won’t play, Nurse said, but another big wing, if needed.

Anunoby being active, if not an active participant, is still a good sign. Toronto had been optimistic that he would play some role in the Finals, and with this step being taken, it appears he’s getting close to being able to do so.
