Patty Mills admits Spurs have faced year ‘unlike any other’
Sunday’s 103-90 win may simply prove to be staving off the inevitable for the San Antonio Spurs, but it was a very meaningful one for the players in the locker room.
The Spurs have faced significant adversity this season, and for point guard Patty Mills, Sunday’s win felt like the least they deserved after a trying season.
Patty Mills for instance: "We kept saying we deserve one. That's what kept pushing us. Because what we've been through this year has been unlike any other." https://t.co/OGGOZ3uFKs

The major story that has followed the Spurs around all season has been the lingering absence of their best player, while tragedy struck the organization during the playoffs. They may lose in the first round, but they won’t go down quietly.
