Paul Pierce trolls Knicks with video on social media after season-ending loss
Paul Pierce was more than happy to dance on the New York Knicks’ grave.
The Knicks’ season came to an end on Sunday with a 130-109 loss to the Indiana Pacers in Game 7 of their second-round playoff series. The defeat was especially bitter for the Knicks as they were playing at home and also suffered yet another cosmically cruel injury blow (this one to star guard Jalen Brunson).
As for the retired Boston Celtics legend Pierce, he decided to troll the Knicks after their loss. Pierce posted a video of himself to X. In the video, Pierce was kicking and stomping on a Brunson Knicks jersey.
“What you say?” Pierce could be heard saying in the video. “Y’all still talking? Dawg get out of here.”

As a Celtic, Pierce was a rival of the Knicks in the Atlantic Division for many years, including head-to-head playoff meetings in 2011 and 2013 (which the two teams split). But he recently drew some fresh ire from Knicks fans with his comments on his former teammate Kevin Garnett’s podcast. Pierce was vocal about how he was not a believer in the Knicks and compared them to an Instagram model that was pretty on social media but ugly in person.
"I be on Instagram and I be like, ‘damn she fine.’ Then you catch ‘em in person and you’re like… ‘this you?’” – Paul Pierce @PaulPierce34 isn’t a believer in the Knicks this year and thinks they’re like an IG model Man, P a fool I swear. Can’t take him nowhere

With the Knicks now bowing out in the second round (and missing the chance to face Pierce’s beloved Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals), Pierce decided to clap back at the hate he received from the Knicks fanbase. It also appears that Pierce is doing much better now after recently having to be hospitalized with an injury.
