
Jahlil Okafor suffered an ankle injury in his preseason debut with the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday.
Okafor left the Pelicans’ game against the Bulls in Chicago after spraining his ankle tripping over a player. He was seen on crutches after the game.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski says Okafor will get X-rays and undergo an MRI.
Okafor signed with the Pelicans in August. The former No. 3 overall pick has not lived up to his draft position so far and is looking to show New Orleans what he can do. He had a nice move and a dunk in the fourth quarter:

Okafor has seen his minutes decrease since his rookie season. He averaged 6.3 points in 12.6 minutes per game last season.
