Pelicans list Anthony Davis as questionable for Wednesday’s game

Anthony Davis

The saga surrounding Anthony Davis continues.

The Pelicans shared their injury report for Wednesday’s game against the Chicago Bulls and had Davis listed as questionable because of a left index finger sprain.

Davis did not play in Monday’s game either despite being cleared to practice. There is a belief that the Pelicans are holding him out while they’re involved in trade talks. There are also questions about whether the Pelicans would hold Davis out the rest of the season even if they don’t trade him by Thursday’s deadline.

New Orleans might not want to risk Davis getting seriously injured, which would lower his trade value. They might be motivated to try and trade him after the season rather than before the deadline because other teams might be able to give them better offers than the Lakers have put together so far.
