
After their initial offers were panned, the Los Angeles Lakers appear to be getting down to business in Anthony Davis trade talks.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Lakers have improved their offer to the New Orleans Pelicans for Davis that includes young players, draft picks, and salary cap relief. It is unclear how close the two sides are to a deal, but the Lakers definitely appear more serious.
The Lakers have offered a new package to New Orleans that includes multiple young players, multiple draft picks and Pelicans salary cap relief for Anthony Davis, league sources tell ESPN. The offer appears to move closer to the objectives that the Pelicans are pursuing in a deal.

The Lakers got a boost on Monday in the knowledge that they’re on the list of teams Davis would consider re-signing with, while one of their potential trade rivals is not. They still appear to be a very likely landing spot if Davis is traded before the Feb. 7 deadline.
