Kenny Smith is getting another coaching interview.
The TNT analyst will interview with the Detroit Pistons for their vacant coaching job, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.

Smith has come out of nowhere as a coaching candidate. This won’t be his first interview of the offseason, though he ultimately failed to get that job.
Smith had a respectable NBA career and has become well-known as an analyst. That said, he has no coaching experience to speak of, and has never been involved with the game in any capacity other than broadcasting since his retirement as a player. It will be interesting to see how that impacts his prospects.
