Kenny Smith to interview for Knicks coaching job
Kenny Smith reportedly has an interview scheduled with the New York Knicks for their vacant head coach position.
After relieving Jeff Hornacek of his duties, the Knicks are in the process of evaluating candidates to be their next head coach. The TNT analyst is among those whom New York reportedly is considering.
According to ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, Smith will interview with the Knicks on Friday.
Smith spent 10 seasons in the NBA and won two championships with the Rockets. He has been an analyst for TNT since 1998. Should Smith land the job, it would be his first NBA coaching position.
