Raptors fans are doing everything they can to make sure the Warriors feel welcome in Toronto before Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

Hours before the series tipped off on Thursday, a Raptors fan decided to light off some fireworks out in front of the St. Regis Hotel where the Warriors players and staff are staying. It’s unclear if the attempted 3 a.m. wakeup call was successful.

Raptors fans really set off a bunch of fireworks at 3am outside of the Warriors hotel room last night.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen home fans pull something like that on a visiting team, but usually there’s a fire alarm involved. Fortunately for the Warriors, tip-off isn’t until 9 p.m. EST. Even if they were awoken by the sound of fireworks at 3 o’clock, they should have had plenty of time to rest up.
