Rihanna has always been a big LeBron James fan, so it’s no surprise she was one of the first celebrities to take to social media Monday night and congratulate the King. She also made sure to do so at the expense of Stephen Curry.
Shortly after the Cavs defeated the Golden State Warriors in Game 7 of the NBA Finals, Rihanna mocked those fans and analysts who have claimed Curry has surpassed LeBron with his level of play.
She then gave a shoutout to LeBron:
If you remember, Cavs swingman J.R. Smith — who used to date Rihanna — mocked the R&B singer in the past for being a bandwagon Miami Heat fan. At this point Rihanna would probably admit that she roots for whatever team LeBron is on, and one of the Warriors team owners can attest to that.
