The Houston Rockets may turn to JR Smith to see if he can help their issues this season.

Smith has not played for the Cavaliers since Nov. 19 and is on leave from the team. He previously called the team out for tanking, which led the two sides to go different directions.
The Rockets are 11-14 and have had depth issues, so they would probably welcome Smith, who is owed nearly $15 million this season.
The Cavaliers recently traded Kyle Korver and George Hill, so the timing would seem right for a Smith trade.
