Russell Westbrook shuts down questions about his technical foul
Russell Westbrook was in no mood to talk about his impending suspension following Saturday night’s game.
Westbrook was called for a technical foul in the second quarter of the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 110-88 loss to the Golden State Warriors. The tech was his 16th of the season, which triggers an automatic 1-game suspension.
Asked a string of questions about his impending suspension, Westbrook continuously said “next question” in response.

Yeah, he didn’t want to go there at all. The team’s blowout loss coupled with his 2/16 shooting night probably didn’t help matters.
One interesting note about Westbrook’s impending suspension is that it will actually save the Thunder a lot of money against the luxury tax.
If you care about Clay Bennett's money, upside to Russell Westbrook's pending one game suspension: It'll cost him $245,891 in salary, and the Thunder will save $522,518 toward the luxury tax. So, $768,409 total in savings.

The Thunder are now 42-28.
