A Seattle Storm coach reportedly was accused of cursing at an opposing player, leading to a complaint.
The Storm and Las Vegas Aces played against each other on Sunday in Seattle with the Aces winning 75-70. After the game, a Storm assistant player allegedly cursed at an opponent, who is also a former Storm player.
Aces guard Jewell Loyd previously played for the Storm and would fit that description. Loyd also filed a complaint against Seattle’s coaching staff before requesting a trade, which was granted in February, indicating she had issues with the team’s coaches.
The WNBA reportedly reviewed the complaint, and there is no active investigation. No fines or suspensions are expected according to reporter Annie Costabile.

A player filing a complaint over an opposing coach cursing at them is a questionable move, as that does not seem to be uncommon in sports.
The Storm hired a law firm to investigate Loyd’s allegations but did not find any violations.
The Storm is 4-4, while the Aces are 4-2. Loyd is averaging 10.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game this season, her first with Las Vegas.
