Shai Gilgeous-Alexander gets clowned for funky pregame outfit
Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on Tuesday took a fashion risk with his pregame outfit. Some fans didn’t think the risk paid off.
Gilgeous-Alexander wore peanut butter-colored clothes as he walked into Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Okla. for Game 1 of the Thunder’s West semifinals series against the Dallas Mavericks.

Gilgeous-Alexander is known for being avant-garde with his fashion choices. The Thunder guard was named by GQ as the NBA’s most stylish player last season. The Toronto native even made a surprise appearance at last year’s Met Gala.
But despite SGA’s fashion resume, his Game 1 outfit simply didn’t land with the general public.
Regardless of how you feel about Gilgeous-Alexander’s wardrobe, the Thunder guard’s stellar 2023-24 season has been undeniable. He averaged 30.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 6.2 assists and a league-leading 2.0 steals across 75 games played.
Gilgeous-Alexander also led the Thunder to a first-round sweep of the New Orleans Pelicans. OKC became the youngest team to ever win a playoff series — let alone pull off a sweep.
