Many have wondered whether the league will suspend Steph Curry for Game 7 of the NBA Finals for throwing his mouthpiece at the end of Game 6, but we can assure you that will not happen.
Yes, Curry threw his mouthpiece in frustration after fouling out in Game 6, leading to him receiving a technical foul and his first career ejection. And yes, players have been suspended during the playoffs in the past for throwing a mouthpiece (at a ref). See this Udonis Haslem example:

Even though Haslem was suspended for that, Curry will not be. Most past incidents of players throwing mouthpieces resulted in fines, not suspensions.
Unofficial word I'm getting from NBA source is that throwing a mouthguard warrants a fine, not a suspension. On to G7.

NBA precedent on a thrown mouthpiece, I'm told, is a fine and not a suspension. So Steph Curry, presumably, will be fine for Game 7.

FYI: NBA has a clear precedent on throwing mouthpieces: It's a fine, not a suspension. League officials affirm this.

The NBA already created enough of a controversy with Steph fouling out in Game 6 and suspending Draymond Green for Game 5. There is no way — NO WAY — they would ever suspend their league MVP in a Game 7 of the Finals for something that inconsequential. You can just forget about that. Maybe a $25-50K fine will come, but not a suspension for Steph Curry.
