Stephen Curry is playing fairly banged up during the playoffs, but he’s persevering – and his recent elbow issue doesn’t sound like a huge roadblock.
The Warriors’ star characterized the bruised right elbow as more uncomfortable than painful, and said it does not impact him when playing.
“It doesn’t cause any problems mechanically, so I can still use my arm and do what I need to do,” Curry said, via Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle. “It just looks ugly and is a little uncomfortable.”
Curry even joked that when he fell into the crowd causing the injury, he wanted to have a bit of fun.
“I wanted to do a crowd-surfing thing, like at a concert, but they weren’t ready,” Curry said.
Curry is dealing with a balky knee as well, but he says he’s managing things effectively. The Warriors will hope that holds true going forward in a tough Western Conference Final against Oklahoma City.
