Report: Stephen Curry targeting return in second round
Stephen Curry is hoping to play in the Western Conference semifinals as long as the Golden State Warriors get there, according to a report.
Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reported Friday that Curry is aiming to return from an MCL sprain sometime in the second round of the playoffs, and will be re-evaluated on Saturday.
Warriors star Stephen Curry (sprained MCL) is targeting expected return at some point in the Western Conference semifinals, league sources told Yahoo. Curry has three-week evaluation on Saturday.

Curry had previously hoped to get back in time to play at least some of the first round, but that appears to be out of the question. Golden State will simply have to get by the Kawhi Leonard-less San Antonio Spurs in the first round to ensure that Curry plays a part in the playoffs.
