The frenzy regarding Kawhi Leonard’s free agency decision has officially hit the airplane tracking status — not an uncommon thing for obsessed sports fans.
As Leonard has gone through his free agency process, the news surrounding it has been very quiet. There have been few leaks or details about teams he is meeting with, how the meetings have gone, or any other details about them. It’s believed that Leonard has met with the Lakers, Clippers, and now with Toronto as he prepares to make his decision. The Raptors were believed all along to be his last planned meeting.
Given the belief that the meeting was taking place Wednesday, social media has been stuffed with talk about Leonard’s plane heading towards Toronto.

There was a big crowd gathered outside the hotel where the meeting was believed to be taking place.

Leonard is the biggest free agent on the market and his decision will have the biggest sway on what team is considered the championship favorite for next season. He is notoriously private and there has been talk that his camp does not want any information leaks — something the Lakers have been associated with. The Lakers have reportedly been saying they believe they are in the lead, but no information has emerged from Kawhi’s camp regarding his preference. There has been talk that he might not make a decision until the end of the week.
